Baruch Dayan HaEmes on the Toulouse terror attacks, ברוך דיין האמת על הפיגועים טולוז

We mourn with the French Jewish communities in Toulouse,  Eretz Yisrael and all over the world, over the terror attacks in Toulouse.  May Hashem comfort the Sandler and Monsonego families among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim.  The murderer is pure Amaleki, whose actions have always targeted the weak among Israel, in cold blood murder.  Hashem should avenge the deaths of these tzadikim.  It is now the time that the Jews around the world should arm themselves to defend against other Amalekites.  We should not hang around to be targeted like sitting ducks.

The product of Zionism, תוצר של הציונות

You probably are now aware of the civil war resulting from the years of tension between the Zionists and Chareidim in Eretz Yisrael. This is unfortunately the results of being subjugated to living under Zionists rule.  Strangely, this has also brought up more fractions between the already polarized sects of Orthodox Jews.  Some support what the Chareidim are doing and others denounce them.
The Vilna Gaon writes that the periods of return to the Land of Israel in the time before Moshiach will parallel the order of arrangements that Yaakov Avinu made for his family before their encounter with Esav, when they escaped Lavan. And he placed the maidservants and their children first and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph last. (Bereishis 33:2)

The Gaon explains the phrase 'and he placed the maidservants and their children first' as the Erev Rav who are the leaders of the people. The immigrants of the 1st and 2nd Aliyah hailed from Russia and the rest of Europe without religion or faith. 'And Leah and her children after' is explained as the ignorant but virtuous people who are subjects of the Erev Rav. Unfortunately, Israel is attracted to them because of their success, and this is the reason why the exile is so long (Even Shelaima, chapter 11). 'And Rachel and Yosef last' refers to the Torah scholars, who are in the lowest position of all. Source: Erev Rav Among Us
It looks like history is taking place just like this.  The majority of the "modern pro-Zionist religious Jews" (it's easy to identify them) are taking the side of the government -- they criticize the Charedim right and left. You have to understand where these Charedim are coming from, they live under Zionist rule. The Charedim in Chutz La'aretz have little memory of what it's like to live like this.  The American Charedim who have not lived in EY under Zionist rule do not understand, nor do they want to understand -- they are easily influenced by the Zionist media and of course, take the side of anti-Chareidim.   I don't want to name names -- but you will know right away by the names of the Rabbis who sign their support away against the Charedim, and prefer to let things be the way they are -- they still believe kiruv is possible for these Erev Rav.  So, while they are sitting "comfortably" in America, England, wherever they are trying to combat growing anti-semitism, they hurl their support towards the Zionists in Israel.
When asked: aren't we to pray for them, in order they should repent from their evil ways? He replied: three times a day in the prayer against the atheists we pray that they should be destroyed.

Moriya's Place supports the Chareidim in Israel -- they have a point, they don't have good PR, but they have a point.  How much longer are you going to tolerate the sheker in this world?

Tribute to Irena Sendler, מחווה אירנה סנדלר

I received a chain mail paying tribute to Irena Sendler, obm, who saved 2500 Jewish children during the Holocaust, by placing them with foster Polish Catholic families, and attempted to reunite them with their families after the war.  In the chain mail, is a reminder that the madmen who run Iran today have to be shut down for denying the Holocaust.  So, in honor of Parshas Chaye Sarah, I'm paying tribute to a righteous gentile, Irena Sendler.  May her memory be for a blessing.

Here's an old Glenn Beck coverage about Irena:

Please help Valerie Carlton, אנא לעזור ולרי קרלטון

Rabbi Sheftel Meir Neuberger
418 Yeshiva Lane
Baltimore, Maryland 21208

November 6, 2011

To whom it may concern:

This is to certify that to the best of my knowledge Valerie Carlton is a Baalas Teshuva who has valiantly tried to maintain her adherence to Torah and Mitzvos under very difficult circumstances. She was subjected to very cruel and unusual incarceration in Harford County Maryland where she was kept in solitary confinement for thirteen months. She was abused and physically tortured until the charges against her were dismissed and she was released.

She moved to the Monsey area. She was now arrested by Federal Marshalls on a misdemeanor assault charge generated in Harford County. I understand that there is a video that shows she was beaten by the officer who she is accused of beating. Should she be returned to Harford County her life is clearly in danger. Anyone who can participate in the demonstration on her behalf at the upcoming extradition hearing may be helpful in saving the life of a Bas Yisroel who is being falsely accused and will suffer serious life threatening consequences should she be returned to Harford County.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Sheftel Meir Neuberger

American anti-Semitism, אנטישמיות אמריקן

NY Daily News reports rising anti-semitism in USA, about 30% hates the Jews. Oh well, what's nu?  Jews should not be involved in politics, stay within their communities, act more mensch-like, and best of all, don't assimilate, don't copy the customs of the goyim. For those of us who failed, do teshuva.  Study Torah, study Torah, study Torah -- for the men.  Be tzanua, be tzanua, be tzanua -- for the women.

Anti-semitism in Postville, IOWA - אנטישמיות בפוסייל איווה

In a disturbing story of religious bigotry in heartland America, city officials in Postville, Iowa, were accused in a federal lawsuit of driving a Jewish businessman to financial ruin after years of anti-Semitic harassment and discrimination.

The case, with its potential for bringing disgrace to Postville’s elected officials, was kept out of the headlines by an out-of-court settlement finalized this week.

Gabay Menachem, a religious Jew residing in Postville, alleged that three members of the Postville City Council, City Clerk Darcy Radloff, Virginia Medberry and Jeff Reinhardt, had routinely discriminated against him and his business, GAL Investments, because of his Jewish faith.

Jewish Professor Gets Damages & His Job Back

MADISON, Wis. (CN) - A technical college must reinstate and pay $555,000 to a history professor who convinced a jury that the school called him a "litigious Jew" and fired him.

Dr. Michael Dubin sued the Madison Area Technical College and its board in 2010, claiming that his contract was not renewed because of his Jewish heritage and beliefs.
The complaint says Dubin was subjected to "humiliating, anti-Semitic remarks by the (then) Chair of the History/Social Science Department ... who ... accused Dubin of being a 'litigious Jew' who was inferior to non-Jews in the department."

Dubin said he was unfairly criticized and reprimanded by the department head and that his course curriculums were rejected for no reason. The school told him he "was 'not needed' in the History/Social Sciences Department since there were 'already enough Jews' there," according to the complaint.

A jury ruled in Dubin's favor in May, and Chief U.S. District Judge William Conley signed off on the judgment Monday.

Dubin will take home $255,000 in back wages and benefits, along with $300,000 for emotional and reputational injuries.

One of his lawyers with Fox & Fox said the professor is eager to return to work.
"Despite his disagreement with certain individuals at MATC whose activities he perceived to be illegal, Dr. Dubin's enthusiasm and respect for the college, its unique mission and its wonderful student body has been unflagging, attorney Randall Gold said in a statement.

Dubin was also represented by Michael Fox.
