There is a huge problem in our modern Jewish society today, problem due to lack of knowledge, ignorance. Ladies, there are Jewish laws of modesty that are not compatible with the word "sexy". Married Jewish women can be "sexy" only for their husbands, not for the public. Ladies, don't make the mistake of these women.

Many of the "frum" clothing you see advertised at the stores are not modest. If they are tight on you, revealing your shape and parts of your body that you should not flaunt (chest, hips, thighs, etc.), then they are no longer modest, even if the clothes reach above your collarbone, long sleeves through your wrist and sweep the floor. If the patterns on your garment are "loud", then they are no longer tznius, because they attract attention. Don't confuse "tznius" with "sexy."
"Layering" garments are usually tight and thin and stretchy, that's why they are made for layering. But these are Parisian styles of today, not Jewish ones. Your garments should be semi-fitted on you, or better, loose fit. Tznius is NOT "sexy". The word "sexy" itself is a l'shon Zonah (prostitute) , IMHO.
I've written many, many posts, about modesty, and I'm following several modesty blogs, but only a very select few of them promote the "real" tznius.
It's a shame that many Jewish women of today prefer to inculcate French ways of dressing than real Jewish ones that are graceful, or as Rabbi Falk would say, "b'chein!" May Hashem help these poor women! I don't think the late Lubavitcher Rebbe would condone such "sexy" dresses on his congregants. Chaval!!!!
