It must be clear to every Jew that Hashem loves His children, His beloved Am Segulah (Precious Nation), the Jewish people. Take the sampling of korbanos that He has taken over the years. You'll see a sampling of chilonim, geirim (Ariel Viflic zt"l, for e.g.), Lubavitchers (Holtzbergs, zt"l, massacred at Mumbai), Breslovers (Ben-Yosef Livant, zt"l), Dati-Leumi (Fogel family, zt"l, Mercaz HaRav's bachurim, zt"l, for e.g.), chassidic (Leiby Kletzky, zt"l, for e.g.) and many other tzadikim whom I don't know.
In ulpan, when we had to define who's an Israeli Jew we all came up with mostly not so nice things to say, which the teacher didn't disagree or object (she's quite liberal!). But we all agreed that when there's peace, Am Yisrael go their merry way and fight with each other, but when there's war and tragedy, Am Yisrael united. This Three Weeks, we must work on our teshuva on Ahavas Chinam (Baseless Love). Let's end this galus once and for all. For how long must we continue this? Every year, someone predicts it's the year of geulah, but then it comes and goes. Every day is an auspicious time for geulah, but we lose it each day in the past 2000+ years.
Can we count on each other? Yes, and we must. The minority of us who has taken on the yoke of Torah and mitzvos must bear the grunt as we are responsible for one another. The whole world counts on us, the Torah-observant Jews, to do what's right. Let's do it right this time.
