Why Redemption Gets Delayed? According to this shiur, Moshiach is not yet coming because he's waiting for the weaker Jews (in spirituality) to get their act together. Amalek attacks those Jews who are weak (weak in their faith in Hashem), who are not protected by the Clouds of Glory in the midbar (desert). In order to bring the weaker Jews up to par spiritually, Hashem brings nisyonos (tests), upon nisyonos, to the Jewish people. Those who are strong spiritually, do not complain, but those who are weak are the ones to complain. Their faith and trust in Hashem is in question. Until at such time, when the weaker Jews have grown spiritually from all these tests, then it's time for Moshiach to make an appearance. Only Hashem knows when this time is.
