א שִׁיר הַֽמַּֽעֲלוֹת אֶל־יְהֹוָה בַּצָּרָתָה לִּי קָרָאתִי וַֽיַּֽעֲנֵֽנִי
: ב יְֽהוָה הַצִּילָה נַפְשִׁי מִשְּׂפַת־שֶׁקֶר מִלָּשׁוֹן רְמִיָּֽה
: ג מַה־יִּתֵּן לְךָ וּמַה־יֹּסִיף לָךְ לָשׁוֹן רְמִיָּֽה
: ד חִצֵּי גִבּוֹר שְׁנוּנִים עִם גַּֽחֲלֵי רְתָמִֽים
: ה אוֹיָה לִי כִּי־גַרְתִּי מֶשֶׁךְ שָׁכַנְתִּי עִם־אָֽהֳלֵי קֵדָֽר
: ו רַבַּת שָֽׁכְנָה־לָּהּ נַפְשִׁי עִם שׂוֹנֵא שָׁלֽוֹם
: ז אֲֽנִי־שָׁלוֹם וְכִי אֲדַבֵּר הֵמָּה לַמִּלְחָמָֽה

Psalms Chapter 120

1. A Song of Ascents. In my distress I cried to the Lord, and he answered me!
2. Save my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue!
3. What shall be given to you? What shall be done to you, O false tongue? 4. Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of the broom tree!
5. Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6. My soul has long dwelt with those who hate peace!
7. I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war!
